Increase your Internet Speed….
Try this, if you have Windows XP Professional.
This is for Broad Band Connections/Dial up…running Windows XP.
1. Go to Start Menu -> Run, and then type gpedit.msc and press enter
2. Expand "Computer Configuration"
3. Then expand "Administrative Templates"
4. Then expand "Network"
5. Highlight the "QoS Packet Scheduler"
6. On the right window...Double Click "Limit reservable bandwidth"
7. On setting tab check the "Enabled"
8. Change "Bandwidth limit %" to 0
Reboot if prompted.
This is because Windows XP reserves 20% of the bandwidth for itself.
NOTE: - This trick doesn’t works in XP Home Edition
